Rocky Top vs Down the field

Rocky top needs to blast after we score. It’s time to play Down the Field after Rocky Top. By time we go to commercial, Rocky top hasn’t even started!!! We are known for it. When opposing teams are getting ready for us they don’t blast down the field on the practice field. Let’s start a movement.

NO! The woo is bad enough. Canned music in the stadium is even worse. Then there's Sterl the Pearl.....JUST NO! Leave sh*t alone. Better yet, put it back like it was!!!

People don’t realize how down the field should be up there w other OSU, Mich, USC, ND, etc fight songs. Needs to be played more. We play rocky top PLENTY during the game

I’m with ya OP.

Down the Field is trash compared to Rocky Top.

Play DTF as we run down the field to prepare for a kick off.

Down The Field is Tennessee's official fight song. Actually, is was written long ago for Yale University. Not sure when we adopted it, but Rocky Top was written by Felice & Boudleaux Bryant in the 1960s, then Dr. W.J. Julian introduced Barry McDonald's arrangement at a Tennessee football game...the Volunteer crowd loved it. Incidentally, our son sent a video of last night's halftime show in Knoxville: LEE GREENWOOD singing God Bless the USA. :cool::)

Lol that would’ve been epic 😂 I mean personally I don’t have any opinion on how or when the signs are played. Well, I guess I like DTF for a score because it is the official fight song, but I can see your argument’s point as well. RT is by far the most popular and has merit to be played as such
