Ever heard Mich St's?? My wife and I went to Wisconsin vs MSU game a few years ago and they made a first down and the entire place in unison after the PA says it's a... Says "1st down b!tch!!" And it's clear and loud! Cracked me up all day
And maybe Mich ST was trying to tell us something after all....? Hindsight is a b!tch.

This thread cracks me up. Can anyone think of another head coach that tried to start a 1st down chant?

Maybe one of our Bama residents will let us know if "Roll Tide Clap-Clap-Clap" is making its way around the airwaves in Bama-land.

What kind of monstrosity was this?!?

I always sensed that it started when some bozo went and promoted soccer to be a watchable sport. In order to stay awake, the fans do dumb cheers.

And now some of them are trying to force that nonsense on football games. If they want to reduce the demand on seats and downsize capacity, they are moving in the right direction.

Of corse not. They only do the "Roll Turd"(It's strange how it really sounds like they are saying turd. Just like LSU sounds like "Lost my shoe.". I'm teaching the kids to say LSU anytime they are looking for shoes. They say LSU more than you would think.) after a 1st down. They have way more class(Blue font for sure. It's so hard(Impossible.)to say "turd" with class.) than to clap 3 times too.

rocky top clap clap? sounds like what you catch from a stripper on the strip.

I was thinking the old Mouse Ear or Last Chance (I think that might've been the name back in the day), but yeah...

Are you old enough to remember the car commercial where the guy pronounced it Gun-Ters-Ville? Very emphasized 3 syllable word.

Oh, what new cheer?

I probably am, but I had never really heard of G'ville until I graduated from college and moved to Madison/Huntsvegas.
