I know everyone is worried about Tennessee’s Offense but it seems about every night you can watch a Rock Fight with several teams in not only the SEC but all conferences. Auburn and A&M are in another one so far tonight. A&M 9-7 with 13 minutes to go in the half. Is it great defense or athletes instead of basketball players?

No one can shoot anymore, not many can actually handle the ball that well. They mostly want to bomb deep 3's but dont really have that kind of skill. Bigs missing shots from 3 feet is embarrassing.

Think of Nkamhoua, he has one decent game and thinks he is MJ. His offense over the last 2 games has been terrible but he keeps shooting, keeps missing.

Less one on one, less "I'm gonna get mine" and more basketball would be great.

I thought Tennessee had turned a corner after Several strong games. Viscovi was making shots. JJJ was back and tends to be consistent. Olivier looked great. You add senior leadership and I'm baffled by the struggle.

A decent guard will shut SV down. He has a slow shot, and not really good off the dribble.

They can dribble these days if you call carrying, palming and just hold your hand under the ball while you make a move or run down the floor dribbling.

I hate the term 'rock fight'. What does it mean? You're throwing rocks at each other? Just started hearing it this year. I hope Dane Bradshaw didn't start it. "Boom goes the dynamite" is better and that's not saying much.

It's obvious you did not watch the Ark - Ky game last night. Nor do you remember the Tn - Ky game a few days back. Yes there are some teams/ players who can shoot the ball. We just don't have any of them...

Using the word as it refers to the game of basketball is not cool. There are other "words/terms" that hackle me the worse being "chunk plays" god I dislike that one.

That term has been around for years. Just refers to an ugly, physical game.

They're all decent guards at this level. I think what's happening is that whoever is guarding SV, the game plan is for that person to not have "help" responsibilities on defense.

It’s not enjoyable basketball, that’s for sure. The biggest reason is that defenses are allowed to grab, hold, and foul a lot.

Wasn't Key supposed to be our Shooter? As for Olivier, he did have more than one good game (for original poster). He's been strong in many including rebounds. I do expect him to be an impact player going forward.

But the Auburn game was ugly. Those happen but unfortunately for us, all players seem to go down at the same time.

I was really excited about Key when I heard he dropped 20+ in the exhibition against Gonzaga, but that proved to be the exception; his lack of production also emphasizes the difference between mid-major (Indiana State) and the big boys (SEC, et al)

Brick fight. Can’t hit shots and pass up dunk for the W
