I'm glad to see he doing better. Meachem is one of my favorite vols of all time.

I would love to see him tear it up this season. Keep in mind that it typically takes receivers a year our two to hit their stride in the NFL. Not everyone is Larry Fitzgerald out of college. Some of the best receivers in the NFL didn't come on strong until they had been in the league for a few years, look at Reggie Wayne.

I think that the Saints could be very dangerous this year. Would love to see Meachem have a break out year. Wish he were up here in Kansas City playing for the Chiefs. He might get a few more touches.

KC fan huh, I used to live in belton, MO myself. Look out for Jake O'connell at TE for the chiefs, he's a rookie this year and personal friend.

I just saw a replay of the LSU game where Meachem made Crompton actually look like a decent QB. Anyhow, one of those balls was badly under thrown into double coverage. RM slowed down, grabbed the ball at its highest point, and dragged one of the CBs into the endzone. Just an unbelievable play.

Does anyone know if RM still pukes before every game?

I remember the local news last year talking about it during his rookie year. I'm not sure he still does though.

I live north of the river near the airport, but I go through Belton all the time when I head south on 71. I will watch for Jake tomorrow night. They play the Seahawks on local tv. Hope he makes the team. Cottam has been banged up in camp....imagine that, huh?

took a hug risk on Meachem. I dropped Jake delahome in my fantasy team to pick him up. Everything I hear about him in the offseason is good. I already know what he is capable of.

2 years for a receiver in the NFL is not too bad. I think the experts say to give a WR a 3 year learning curve to learn the Pro offenses and to get used to the speed and talent all around at that level. I hope he does good things in the league!

He just made a catch about 15 yards down the field (that's as far as Brunell's 50 yard old arm can throw it), pulled away from the defense for about 70 yards, and got chased down and dropped at the one yard line.
