Back on topic, I've seen Marve play a couple of times this seaon and I noticed when he can't find his first read open, he scrambles without regard for any other receivers. I think we already have one of those guys.

Jevan Snead.....He was sucking hind tit, but has proven that he is still a good qb and I think will be great.

I thought Snead didn't really play much as a true freshman at Texas. Colt McCoy just had a great redshirt freshman year that Snead wasn't going to beat him out.

Brantley would be a steal. That kid is going to be good.

If Gonzo comes up to UT and Tebow stays. This might have some legs...

I really wasn't sure what you meant by throwing those two out there. I assumed you were being sarcastic, but you never know, it's hard to decifer tone from typed words.

I put wishful thinking above their names in the post. Mitch Mustain was the guy I thought of when CLK said this on CSS and somebody mentioned Jimmy Clausen on rivals so I figured it would stir up something. Neither have any validity but one can hope I guess.

Marve, Corp, and Brantley are the three that have some legs. My roomates are diehard bama fans and they swear Marve started off at bama and McElroy at Miami. They said they swapped schools same season. If that is true, I don't know why someone would want to tranfer a second time.

He went to the same school as Aaron Murray and had similar numbers his senior year (4,380 yards passing 48 TD's/13 INT's and had 832 yards rushing with 8 TD's). He looked pretty bad this season. Every time that Jacory Harris came in the game the offense played way faster, more efficient, and on the same page. Of course Harris did already know many of his teammates from Northwestern HS, especially Aldarius Johnson his primary reciever. Marve took a visit to Alabama but didn't sign with anyone but Miami. I'm pretty sure that he won't be coming here.

We can put this one to bed. Marve is considering transferring to LSU or UF. Sounds like he may have been interested in UT, but Kiffin probably told him no thanks.

Why transfer to UF they are loaded with QB's. Not to mention he will have to sit out another year and has already burned his RS. Could end up like Mustain.
I could see him going to LSU.

UF kicked the original 2nd stringer off the team...They have room and from what I have read Marve is being compared to a former Urban Meyer QB Alex Smith...I see him ending up there...I do not want him but that is just my :twocents:
