Brent Hubbs announced on 1-5-26 that Rob was retiring from Volquest.
It was a very heartfelt post, wishing him much happiness in retirement.
That said, given he was the lead basketball writer, I don’t understand why he wouldn’t wait until the end of the season. I have no insider information, but I would not be surprised if he pops up somewhere else, perhaps doing his own thing. If not, happy retirement!

Apparently some of the VQ guys, 247 guys, RTI guys, and FanRun all bumped into each other in an alley and got into a brawl. Rucker showed up and tried to make it about himself, only to be ignored. Anyways, Rob Lewis reportedly killed a man with a trident and Eric Cain advised him to lay low for a while.

Austin Price is kind of alot to deal with, and you add Matt Ray on top of that, Rob thought it best to part amicably before, you know.. Brent in his years is no longer the super glue that held it all together, He's more like that kindergarten glue that you had to apply with a stick. /s
