Any GM who would choose Prince over Rasheed Wallace is an executive looking to get themself fired.

I cant believe all of this hype over the Celts and all of the people who think they could beat a proven winning team year after year with all of the size and veterans. THE CELTS ARE NOT AS GOOD AS THE PISTONS!

wake me up when KG has a heart.

once again you have proved along with hat that your comments need to stay with football or maybe start a bridge board. KG shows up to play every single night. he is one of few players who come to play night in and night out. to your tree again

two different players...you cant choose one over the other. sheed brings an inside game with ability to shoot the three and a birthmark and prince can do it all. defense, shoot, penetrate, and finish.

you are out of your mind. of the skills listed, rasheed does them all better, except penetrate and Prince doesn't do that well. the guy that trades Prince for Wallace straight up is to be short lived in the NBA.

TennesseeFan07 vehemently disagrees.

OK. We've moved on. Losing Rasheed would kill the Pistons. Losing Prince would not. The relative pay grades between the two should tell you all you need to know about how the GMs in the league view their value.

Guess I'm saying that if your basketball points had more merit, they'd be worth debating.

the merit is you got a guy who can play defense better than almost anyone in the league. has a good jumpshot, can shoot the three, AND PENETRATE! and not to mention he is going to play longer. sheed can shoot the three and post up on occasion. plays like randy moss, when he wants to. prince plays hard every night. the debate is there along with your merit

you're way overselling Prince. he's not as good as you're making him sound. he can shoot reasonably well, but the team relying on him to penetrate effectively, will get their lunch handed to them.
Sheed means more to their D than Prince does, all day long. Prince's D didn't really help stop LeBron in the EC Finals last season, as you were so quick to point out.

and sheed could have? come on now. no one can stop lebron. anyways, next subject. when cleveland makes a deep run in the playoffs and prince proves you wrong i expect apologies all around.

I could not care less about an apology for me. Those in the sports prognosticating business are wrong one helluva lot. That's the nature of it. I just bristle at someone implying that I don't think for myself, which is patently absurd as you, Justin, can probably attest.

PS. I would like to hear an apology for Justin nonetheless.
