I have seen all the I feel for Coach Fulmer posts on here. But last night ,as I sat on my couch in the den watching, I couldn't help but feel for the Tennessee people in the stands who had traveled to watch this team.

It was hard to watch on TV. I can only guess how those people felt.

They all just about cleared out of the stadium by the end of the 3rd quarter again.... It was a really sad game to watch. Must have really been pulling straws for some miracle to put crompton in and get his head rattled............

It would have been worse if it was in Knoxville.

When you face a 5 hour drive you sit in the stands awhile. When you can go home to a frig full of cold beers you leave before half.

It was bad guys. Left early 4th quarter. Truly embarassing. Before the game, there was no feeling among any of the Gamecock fans we tailgated with that UT was a threat to win this game.

At least it was only hour and half or so ride home.

No, it wasn't, at least for the 3 1/2 quarters I stuck around for. In fact, I was talking to my buddy about how the Bama/UT game in Neyland (at least the first half) was much, much louder. Billy Brice is the most overrated home field advantage in the SEC.

I think the stadium was a little mild last night. It was strange. As bad as UT is. For SC fans, it was kind of like playing wofford again. On second thought, Wofford played us closer.

Ok. If im not mistaken, you rexvol were one of a few that were really arrogant the past few years saying that this day would never come. The day has come and I will enjoy it. I am not here to boast or rub people the wrong way. I always have just said that USC was becoming a better team and they are. I will enjoy it while it last. Go Gamecocks. And if you are wondering? When not playing USC I alway pull for UT. Ive been here for the entire season and I will be here until end and beyond as long as I am allowed. Good day.

If middle of pack in the east is the "day that would never come" then enjoy. Beat us fair and square but that's still not a good program there in columbia. Will always play catch up to fla and uga. Lack of crowd enthusiasm at billy brice was lame

I think the lack of enthusiasm was due to playing a team that was at best NOT good. Did you notice SC was up 21-0 at the half. I wasnt very enthusiastic about playing UAB either. Dont blame us. When the game started SC sensed that they were better than UT. They were favored by 6. When Spurrier got here I knew the talent gap would decrease. It has. Evidence USC 27 UT 6.

Don't kid yourself about South Carolina having elevated their team because they haven't. UT has lowered itself.
