That's good he's cleared to play, but I'm skeptical how much he will be able to contribute this year. Sounds like Sutton and Coleman had separated themselves from him before he had to sit out.

But if u noticed, we play more than two CBs all game. A Walkon scored our only TD of he 1st half... We can use him for sure

Depth. Depth. Depth. When drives get long and the defense is getting tired it's good to have a CB that can come in and rest a starter without having a large drop off in talent.

I agree but it never hurts to have depth. He's a JUCO guy that can bring guidance though. He's got some of the fastest feet I have ever seen.

I know it's hard for us to understand the concept of "depth". It has been way to long since we have had some at ANY position.

Great news..getting him and Vereen back just makes the defense better. We need to get the club off of Smith and Maggit and we could have a pretty good D.

Swafford is not a walkon.

What do you say that?

Tennessee Vols Trending Report: Week Four (Florida) - Rocky Top Talk
Devaun Swafford. The kid is a freshman and walk-on, and he's now picked off a pass and run it back for a touchdown against a big rival in an SEC stadium. If he never does anything else, it'll be a story to tell his grandkids. But the thing about freshmen is that they often get better. He won't be Eric Berry, but Swafford has a chance to be a lot better than your run-of-the-mill walk-on.

Good news for him. Health issues like that are scary. Glad it is not something that ended his career.
