4.5 for a tight end is pretty blazing IMHO. Welcome, Mychal! Can't wait to see you creating mismatches for opposing secondaries next fall!

I don't know about this one. Watch the video on him. Looks kind of slow and always goes down with the first hit. But, I trust our coaches to see more in him than I do. I don't make a living at evaluating football talent.:)

4.5 40 is blazing fast for a tight end. Most receiver run a 4.4. That is far from slow.

This is so big and so hot, that Jimmy Hymens dropped his pastrami with tofu sandwich at lunch. And rushed back to his office to type out the report. It will be released on Feb.29th by him. :good!:

Agreed.......But watch the film on him. If he is a 4.5, then I'm a 4.3 and I am 40 years old and 40 pounds over weight.

lol. I don't recall him being very fast. Though, he didn't play at Oregon. So, who knows.

I think he'll be a better fit at UT, assuming he'll be in a pro-set.

Most receivers actually DON'T run a 4.4. 4.5 if accurate is fast for any skill position player and extremely fast for a 230+ lb receiver. That speed will be tough for even a safety to match down the seems, forget about a LB keeping up.

Have you guys seen his picture on Scout?
He looks like a bad mofo!
Heck it looks like he did time...did we get a TE or a bodyguard for the team? lol
Good pick up, not bad, not great.
