meh, who cares, regardless of whether we make it or not, bowl projections arent worth anything till the 8th or 9th games of the season; till then you might as well let NCAA 09 make up your bowl projections

UT will get 6 wins, and go to a bowl somewhere. Hopefully, it's somewhere warm.

Any bowl is better than none, since you get another month of practice, use it to bring recruits around, a little walking around money for players, etc.

"Any bowl is better than none" when you're Vandy or Mississippi State.

When you're UT...or better yet used to be UT...saying any bowl is better than none is saying a lot about the current state of the football program.

Honestly, whenever we are in a situation where we become bowl eligible by only winning 6 games, I always wish we lose it. Going to a bowl in Idaho or some backwater town always means an uninspired UT playing an inspired small school that will more than likely kick their butts. Georgia Tech experienced that a couple of times recently and got kicked both times by Fresno St. or somebody like that.

I don't think you can say it any better than that right there. UT isn't supposed to be like this. Unless we get a new head coach in there mediocrity is going to be a way to life in Knoxville for a long time to come.

That would be awesome going to the Liberty Bowl! We should give Phil a contract extension for getting us there!
