I will remind you of UF's position in that list later this year, when all the "I hate Florida just cause they kicked out butts again" gang start in on our admittedly weak (except for half ass U) OOC schedule.

Lawgator, you're unusually full of yourself going into this season for a fan of a team that's going to be entering this season with a first year starter at QB.

I must admit I was somewhat thrilled when I first saw the list and it had UT at 6.Then, much to my astonishment, the once mighty Gators were right below us at 7. So much for credibility.

dont' have any real issues with this.....i don't know that UF or TN schedule is top 10 material. and to not have Bama on the list at all is a bit strange.

SC definitely has a tough road, literally.

I enjoy the fact that the Cal game gives us all something to talk about and focus on, but this is one of those years that I would rather see La Lafayette or Arkansas State in that spot.

Western Kentucky, Troy, and Florida Atlantic? Does UM think he is still coaching at Utah?

"The Trojans gave Florida State and Georgia Tech all they could handle last year."

I'd say you're out of those 2 schools league. As if Troy will give you all you can handle.

Last year, that was definitely true. I am very much on the fence about FSU this year. They could be a sleeping giant. They may also continue their downward spiral. The new coaching staff cannot possibly do anything other than help. but they haven't lit up the board recruiting-wise quite like they used to and it is starting to show.

Any team that schedules Troy, Western Kentucky, and Florida Atlantic as 25% of their opponents shouldn't be allowed to compete in the SEC.

That alone makes this list a complete joke.

LSU
Georgia
Tennessee
Auburn
Florida State
Arkansas
Ole Miss.
Miss. State
Vanderbilt
Western Carolina
Houston
Louisiana - Monroe

Our schedule should rank #1 hardest. Just another example of media bias against the Crimson Tide.

If you mean in the state of Alabama you might be right.

You don't think Florida is good enough to compete in the SEC?

everyone basically realizes that theses schedule "critiques" are fully applicable until we schedule some one like say um, ark State and ULL.

the only "sin" in scheduling as far as i'm concerned is scheduling 1-aa opponents.

Everyone should at least have one quality OOC opponent a year and by and large the majority of hte SEC does that.

SC does have the hardest schedule. but i'm still not convinced that TN and FL are 2 and 3 in the league. Bama's is harder. and we don't have Auburn or LSU from the West......FL has both.

our ranking has once again a lot to do with the perception that Cal is great.

We don't play any.
 When did Western Carolina move up to 1a then?

i mean if you are going to schedule a team from the NC mountans, at least make it App St......they're at least good for that division..........jeez.

No, UF is obviously fully capable of competing in the SEC. But you drag down the conference reputation by playing teams that you have no business even talking to. At the end of the season we "could" miss a BCS bid because you played Western Kentucky which will hurt UT's computer ranking. At least UF should man up and play real teams outside the SEC and FSU - for the sake of the conference.

that simply may be the dumbest thing i've ever read.

we don't miss BCS games because FL played WKU. we usually miss BCS games by losing games or not winnning the SEC.

is this another excuse for our performance? FL played WKU?

UTIE95....seriously.
