Must step up: Wide receivers. Attrition hit this group hard. The junior Meachem left for the NFL draft, and Swain and Smith completed their eligibility. Lucas Taylor, Austin Rogers and Josh Briscoe have combined for 29 career catches. That means junior college transfer Kenny O'Neal or freshmen Ahmad Paige, Gerald Jones or Brent Vinson could see playing time. Sophomore Quintin Hancock is coming off an excellent spring.

Reading those names makes me feel more comfortable with our WRs. At least 2 of those will step up and keep WR U going

I'm personally not too big on the first three names but you know crazier things have happened. Take for example Erik Ainge from the 2005 to 2006 turnaround.

I thought the same thing at first then relized these guys have been behind Meach, Swain, & smith. I'm not sure they really had alot of looks. I am banking on more reps and opportunities = drastic improvements. And the JC guys cant hurt any.

Also expect big things from Rico McCoy this year.

My prediction: 1st Team SEC Linebacker.

I love that kid and how he plays.

Foster had one shortcoming and he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He has more than made up for it. I wouldn't count out Rogers yet. He has looked decent at least.

Don't forget he, Foster, can't seem to hold onto the ball.
I think Rogers will be a quality go to receiver.

how many times has foster fumbled in his career?

I want to say 6. 3 last year and 3 in 05.

That's one thing I really don't like about the new utsports.com. They don't have nearly the staistical breakdown that the old website did. You could look up anything on the old site.

I have I have a good feeling about Rodgers (or is it Rogers?). I also have a good feeling about O'Neal. I just can't for the life of me imagine those 2 leading the team in yards. O'Neal? Yes. Rodgers? I can't SEE it.
