I think Foster will sign with Auburn in the end. They already call him Tray Blackmon Jr.

They can call him whatever they want, but his family is huge UA fans along with him. You are from the state and how many kids from a UA family sign with AU or vice versa. Heck Kwon could of had a full scholly to AU but went to LSU instead when UA only offered him a grayshirt and he would have done great in AUs defense.. Remember Foster and his family are originally from AL.

Tell that to Yeldon.

I didn't mean Auburn people call him that, I meant La Grange people do. And that is a very pro Auburn area. Only about 30 minutes from here.

It will be interesting.

Yeah but Yeldon we had to pay for. We do not have to pay for recruits from families that are all UA.:)

Also though him and his family neither are from either of those 2 areas. Foster is more of a lock to the class than E Williams was to last and more of a recrutier than G Smith. I very seldom if ever call a kid a lock but I will with him.

Fair enough but there will be a lot of pressure. If Bama is where he wants to go then good for him.

The Rb we've offered derrick Green is a huge get. I also would be happy if we got the Lb. EJ Levenberry.... It would be nice if we can talk them 2coming 2 our senior camp....

Su'a Cravens...just for the name. Anyone know the story on his leanings? Rivals isn't reporting an offer, but that doesn't mean anything.

I can't. I actually donate to VASF. I get a notice every year. It is forbidden by the NCAA. Technically I'm a donor. Not Haslam, but who is? I give a lot, as much as I can afford.

I don't want you to call anybody even if you had that information.

It is way WAY to early in the recruiting season to worry about websites listing who we've offered and who is in the top 100/250.

Also, remember that we have offered more kids than any other school in the nation. I'm sure many of them are on this list. No worries brother

Jaylon Smith is a ND lock. They also believe Pocic will be.

At the moment I think Foster sticks with his commitment to Alabama but AU is gonna go as hard as possible for this kid over the next year. Look how many times Foster has already visited AU.

Pro's for AU:

1.DEPTH at LB for AU
2.Location Lagrange, GA! Heavy AU area.
3.Quan Bray being AU.
4.Brian VonGorder recruiting the GA area. (VonGorder in GA is like Saban in Alabama)

After all that I still think his family and his love for UA gets him to turdtown BUT if he keeps flirting just like Yeldon did we might have a chance. AU will be bigger competition for this signature than UGA. :twocents:

Pro's for UA

1.We lose 2 starting LBs next year to the NFL. What is that 5 posiible 1st rd LBs in 4 years.
2.Every year since Saban has been here a true freshman LB has made the starting lineup. Depth will not be an issue for him
3. Foster is good enough no matter where he goes he will play as a freshman
4. He is not from LaGrange so not worried about the pressure
5. Been to UA more than enough times to keep me happy
6. Does not recruit players to any other school except UA
7. Saban and Smart now own GA for recruits 8)

Anything can happen and yes it is a long way off from NSD, but everyone will chase him until than and every team site will report some positive in their favor, but this one I have little concern until he is quoted saying different.

If Smart ever left for another job, would it hurt Bama's recruiting?

Not really because it does not matter who may be the recruiter for an area. Because once a kid shows interest, especially someone on the level of Foster or Nkemdiche, Saban takes over. You ever notice most of the time a recruit when he commits to UA usually only Saban is the one named for recruiting him. Why they say Saban is such a workaholic because he spends so much time as a recruiter, where alot staffs have the assistants do the majority of the recruiting. I am sure it may have a few pause but Saban would just replace him with someone equal or better.

UT will be fine with these kids, facilities in fall will be better than anywhere and winning some games will help. Don't freak just yet
