Is Levenberry going to be the number one recruit on UT's board this year?

I don't see Alexander sticking, too bad, he can play.

Wow!!! Giving up on him already.:shakehead:

I am aware of his offer list but it says something that he committed to us this early..At least we have his attention, but there is more than enough time to lock him up..Have faith!!

Sanders is as good as any OL in the top 100. He won't get the accolades because he's so solid and won't sell any subscriptions with his recruitment.

I'm surprised there are only 11 5* star players on that list b/c aren't there usually more than that?? Thoughts??

It's his twin brother not being commited that has me thinking he will leave, not sure but I don't think he is as good and doesn't hold an offer from UT.

Seems like a package deal, if UT wants to hold onto him, they should at least offer his brother, sometimes you gotta play the game.

Bottom line is that making a lot of noise this season will garner more attention. We just released the schedule for our spring practices. I'm not concerned in the LEAST at this point how much we are or are not mentioned on the top 100 or 250 right now.

Hmmmm.... no TN players in the top 100, wonder why? I guess rivals figured out that we have a 90% chance with most and 'said no, thats not gonna happen....'

At least they gave Alexander a fair shake.

Rivals is reporting that we have 99 scholarship offers out for 2013. Probably not exact, but still interesting...

Exactly. There's just way too much that goes into ranking players and slightly altering rankings.

Also, very interesting they still have Sal Sunseri as Levenberry's recruiter from Bama and Sirmon his recruiter from here.

Maybe they will offer his brother;in fact, they probably will since iit might be a package deal..I think the coaches are fully aware of this.

The Rogers/Nance deal comes to mind(even though they weren't brothers).

I asked if any TN players were considered for top 100.

Keith's response.

Keith Niebuhr: Eric: Yes, expect Tennessee to get some love tomorrow. Big fan of Ramsey, Elder, Dodson, Carr, and more

I've said all along that if UT can manage to win a big game or two and take care of the teams that we are supposed to, our recruiting should really take off.

In the end, there lies the problem, I truly believe that another sub-par season will result in not only a poor recruiting class but some major attrition as Dooley will be shown the door.

Simply put, this is going to be the most important season for UT in recent memory.

Agree with you. A primetime win, or three, against the teams getting all the hype would work wonders.

Someone with way too much time on their hands should take on the following project:

Compare Rivals and ESPN rankings (over the last 3 to 5 years) for players participating in the Army All-American Game and the Under Armour All-American Game to determine if how often Rivals ranks the Army participants higher and how often ESPN ranks the UA participants higher. A percentage calculation would be best. I doubt the results surprise anyone.

Keith's response.

Is tomorrow the release of the 250?

It is imperative for UT to lock-up these in-state players ASAP.

Then put the full-court press on the elite out of state players that UT is after.

Really nice to have the number of commits we have already, hopefully they stick.

It is tomorrow around the same time.
