haha you guys are ridiculous! Rivals does not hate UT, the reason Hurd and Kelly "moved down" was because they did not attend any of the RIVALS camps. other recruits did, and the star performers were rewarded with bumps in their ranking on RIVALS. this mean some people moved up in rankings which moved, not just Hurd and Kelly down, but everyone else down as well. not that complicated. personally, I think both will be 5 stars eventually, but they haven't gone to any camps or anything this spring so analysts have nothing new to go on. they arnt going to bump kids rankings just because volnation tells then to do so. that being said, go vols!

Lanky? Hahaha. This was taken a week ago, and he was bigger than every player on the field including the linemen. Remember, thats a 6'3.5 frame.

Also, he mows people over more than he runs past them. Just because it's not on his highlight tape, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Obviously, you've never seen him play.

I don't doubt that Jalen will be a 5* by the end of the season and may move to the #1 RB position in the country in all the services. His attitude and belief in the team concept will make him even better. I still am going to try to make the trip down to watch Beech play Independence this fall. Hope I don't make anyone mad screaming for the UT commits and not for a team!
I just don't understand the two-faced trolls slithering in on the VN page trying to cause hate and discontent!

My god. His legs are already super developed for a kid his age. He's got plenty of room to add size to his upper body. We could be looking at a 245 lb offseason/235 lb playing weight running back at UT. That's insane...I can't wait to see him run into the checkerboards.

I wouldn't want to be a 175 lb. CB and have a 230 lb. Jalen Hurd roaring at me like a wild buffalo! Most of them will not want to miss a game with a concussion so they'll move to the side. TD!

Nick Saban has a good track record of getting great backs and putting them into the league. You think he'd spend his recruiting efforts on someone better, since you know, Jalen isn't elite enough. If you're going to troll, be smart.

Yup, I love him at RB and he's amazing at the position, but could you imagine if he played LB with his size and speed? Holy ****.

I know all about Bill Bates & son Dillon. I want the kid too as much as anyone of you on this board. You just can't say he's a lock until they make that announcement in public & sign on that dotted line. I'm just gun shy from losing good recruits at the last minute from years passed until it's a done deal.

Have you ever been to Nashville? Metro Nashville has almost 2 million people and will by the 2020 census. You act like its some redneck village in the woods. They play some pretty damn good football in that area.it might not be as good as Louisiana, but it's good enough comp to see that a guy with 3,000 yards is pretty dominant.

On the other hand, who gives a damn where you're from? I know I don't.
