Its December the 3rd

First Saturday in December . SEC Championship Day


Just think, this time next year, we will be getting up and getting ready to play Alabama in a rematch.

No, I'm not smoking anything. I just like to look at the bright side of everything. We will be a faster, stronger, deeper, more experienced and more talented team next year.

We will have made some changes to the coaching staff that will improve the weaknesses on this team.

We will be overlooked by most, which will be dangerous for them.

Reminds me of 1989. When most were expecting something similar to the 5-6 1988 season. All they got at the end of the season was 11-1

I know some of you dont like having sunshine pumped up your ass, but its going to get better. Next year will be light-years ahead of how we played this year. If we stay healthy, this team can achieve anything they set their minds to do.

We just have to be patient and let this thing play out. How any of you can be depressed that things didnt go right, when over 90% of you predicted a 6 win season.

Anyway, enjoy your day and keep your heads up.

We are all Vols and in this thing together.

The rainbow and flowers are so pretty. Wow, over there is a beautiful unicorn. It's so wonderful here in LaLa Land. I don't ever want to leave.
Just kidding. I agree that we should see huge improvements. We will be playing LSU though in the championship game though.

I like what you are tring to do but I think down deep we all know that this is not going to happen but its nice to dream.

The SEC needs to look at other neutral sites for the Title game - now that A&M is in the SEC theres Cowboy stadium and Reliant Stadium - Also the Superdome and Dolphin Stadium - I just hate the Ga Dome every season

But of course as was said "You can't accept the truth"!

The mediocrity continues.

I hope you are right. Do remember that that '88 team won their last 5 after losing their first 6 so they were on a roll as opposed to losing to Kentucky and having all of this turmoil and drama. However, I am going to be optimistic that anything can happen.

I'm with Count. 2012 is going to be a fun season to watch, September can't come soon enough.

The most beautiful view of West Tn is watching it disappear in your rearview mirror when you cross the TN river. If the count's vision comes to pass it'll be a great turnaround. If not, we all know what's coming.

The biggest problem I have with Yorkvol's post is the last line. Mediocre for this program is 8-9 win seasons and Peach Bowls. We are not even close to being mediocre. Rock bottom folks. As Imus says, get your mind on it.
