RIP Wes Rucker

So it all started by a traffic stop during busy rush hour, when the roads are packed is not the time to create a traffic hazard on the side of the road for a speeding ticket.
Not according to the account by State Troopers that I read. The accident took place on I-40, Traffic in a lane came to a sudden stop and someone rear ended someone. This set off a chain reaction and another 1?2?3? cars became involved. A large pick up truck then came at speed and hit the1?2?3?4? cars already involved, at high speed including lifting and crushing 1?2? cars. Wes was the only person involved pronounced DOA by authorities. Now, which one of those cars (from the first to stop safely? To being in the pick up truck?) was Wes…I don’t know. I suspect he was one of the ones hit by the truck and crushed. Meanwhile, it’s heartwarming to see the GoFundMe is approaching $650K in 2 days!

So…maybe y’all should go start another thread to argue traffic tickets, crazy speeds on I-40 (and ALL other Interstates, or distracted driving…maybe…

Being a new Vols fan for only the past year and a half, I didn’t know a lot about Wes Rucker, but it sounds like he was a very good family man. Not sure how much money it will bring to the family Gofubdme, but every dollar helps in a situation like this so I posted the story and Gofundme link on the Rutgers site—The Knightshift Report. God Bless the whole family.
