Had a very good coaching career at UCLA and of course called our national title season in 1998 on CBS with Sean McDonough. I enjoyed his commentary.

I don’t believe that he ever worked with Ron Franklin. Donahue was at CBS for three years. The first year he did games with Jim Nantz and the last two he was partnered with Sean McDonough.

Year it wad Gottfried. McDonough was his mate. They were good together.
