RIP Mike Pinder and RIP to All the Moody Blues

Last member of the original Moody Blues has died.

When I was about 10 my parents bought me MB's Days of Future Passed and the Band's Stage Fright. Being the first two CD's in my collection, I was forced to play them even tho there was no initial appeal to me. Of course they are masterpieces and I grew to love them, and that foundation has informed a lot of my musical taste.

Crazy these guys are all gone.

My father's favorite band of all time. He is in mourning.

Never appreciated the music as much as he did, but Nights in White Satin was a meaningful song to me.
