Very tragic news out of Miami. Young star pitcher Jose Fernandez killed in a boating accident.

I'm not a huge baseball fan...but I am very familiar with Jose and how much a great player he was. Thoughts for those who are in grief.

Now there are reports he was at bar hours before accident. From what I've read initial reports didn't expect drugs or alcohol.

So sad. To think he escaped Cuba and getting shot at by the Cuban officials and actually made it here to safety at 15 yrs old. And to die like this at such a young age of 24. RIP
