How I feel about Phil. My analogy.

Like a 17 year relationship with an ex gf/wife.


She was cheating on her husband with me. They broke up, now I have her, but the thought of how I obtained her always haunted me. We had a great time together and I enjoyed every minute of it... until she stopped doing what got us together in the first place.

We divorced and I forgave her. But, I'm still giving her money. I agreed to it, that's part of life.

I won't talk bad about her, but it's over. I'll never forget her and the good times, I thank her for them, but it's like grabbing a jug of expired milk from the fridge and putting it back in thinking it will be okay later.

I'm single right now and I know you are too, but I have my eyes on something more along the lines of.....

I wish the guy could have won and been behind closed doors what he was in his pressers. In the end his utter failure may be our pheonix moment if we land Gruden. Imagine if the guy had been quasi successful. Could have been a long bumpy ugly road.
