There might be some civil discord in places, but I doubt anything major will happen. What has Obama done for his supporters?! Absolutely nothing.

Now if something along the lines of JFK happened... let's just say I would get the hell out of ATL as fast as possible.

Okay, fine. Now, are there people, and I'm including no small number of whites mind you, that have no problem whatsoever in stating their belief that most any criticism of Obama, much less his losing the election to Romney (if that occurs) would be driven by racism? Of course there are.

Don't stop there though. Listen to the rhetoric. There are a lot of these people that are already sensitive to the race (remember, not necessarily black either) issue that are being bombarded with the economic side of things. Put the two together and it's a good bit worse than "just" race.

Lastly, I don't think we've done a very good job of taking the "mob mentality" into account up to this point. You get a handful....a mere handful of people taking it badly and somebody ends up shot, probably by police. Considering the mindset of a much larger group, already stressed, that incident will be looked at logically and rationally, right? Uh huh.

Look, I'm not predicting anything. In fact I'd very, VERY much like to think it's just paranoia on the part of some. Still, there's not a person reading this, not one, that doesn't know human nature is a pretty ugly thing when scenarios play out a certain way. I think a lot of "problematic" elements will be in place after the elections if Romney wins. Beyond that...hell if I know.

OJ killed those people in cold blood. Then hid behind the black community to stay out of prison. He is not one of us and has not been since about 83. He is a huge part of the racial resurgence in this country. That is why he ended up in the pen ultimately. His payback for killing the mother of his children while they slept inside the house. Vincent Bugliosi (prosecuter of the Manson case) wrote an excellent book on the trial. It is an excellent read (rather expansive, but informative still) and sheds light on a very poor prosecution. Which is why he walked on the murder charge.

What a lame attempt to rebut the horrors of African-American life for 200 or so years in this country with some kids stealing. Lame. Flash mobs and Lynch mobs are not congruent. Not even close. Their purpose and impact are HUGELY different. You have to know that. Why ignore it in a pathetic attempt to discredit what happened to that poor guy strung up in a tree. Ironically, you support the state of Israel and have no problems with these Jews killing Palestinians because Jews were given the "Holy Land" over 3,000 years ago.

The analogy is a lot closer than you feel.

Let's assume the following are indisputable:
- The majority of blacks in America were persecuted from the mid-seventeenth century through the middle of the twentieth century.
- Since the middle of the twentieth century, blacks are still more likely than whites to receive harsher sentences for the same crimes (more likely to serve maximum sentences for drug offenses, more likely to receive the death penalty for rape and murder)
- Since the middle of the twentieth century, blacks charged with crimes are still more likely than whites charged with crimes to be convicted of said crimes.

Thus, there still appears to be a subconscious thought process in America that treats blacks as inferior and more deserving of punishment/harm (harm at the hands of the government is still harm).

Thus, it appears that whites are still treating blacks as inferior, and that process results in more harm for blacks.

Thus, whites are still harming blacks simply for being black.

Let me grant you the following with regard to Israel: Palestinian Muslims are still harming Israeli Jews simply for being Jewish.

Are the Israeli Jews justified in responding against any Palestinian Muslim with violence? Are black Americans justified in responding against any white American with violence?

Is any Israeli Jews justified in responding with violence against any Palestinian Muslim? Is any black American justified in responding against any white American with violence?

Is an individual Israeli Jew justified in responding with violence against any Palestinian Muslim? Is an individual black American justified in responding against any white American with violence?

Is an individual Israeli Jew justified in responding against an individual Palestinian Muslim with violence? Is an individual black American justified in responding against an individual white American with violence?

What is the criteria that identifies an individual as justified to attack? What is the criteria that identifies an individual as liable to attack?

Hmmm didnt know America was a country in the seventeenth century

Blacks are being persecuted RIGHT NOW by Blacks in Africa! And all u want to harp on is what happened over 60 years ago

and support someone that says being found innocent of murder is A-OK because of the past!
