Ridiculous 2nd half stats

Their offense dominated our defense in the second half. That was the story of the half. Arky had the ball for 22 minutes, and when they didn't have it we were in terrible field position. Both are offense and our defense are mediocre, and worse than mediocre in the second half--and that is why were are losing.

yes they did....our back end cannot tackle or cover which is one reason why the team is in the position it is right now. The OL is below average as a unit...a couple guys are doing OK but the whole unit isn't....that's what happens when you use a guard to play tackle. The QB can't throw the ball even when he has time....or receivers let it pass through their hands. The real talent on this team is still 1 or 2 years in the program...learning curve is steep in the SEC...but it's 100% coaching....of course

Then we need to make his life here so miserable that he will beg to pay us to leave.
Demote him to WR coach or janitor. Let him be the highest paid DJ for pregame music in America. Just find someone who can actually coach and win football games

He would even suck at this.

Let's be frank and candid for a moment, Lil' Jon is awful.

After the first quarter Arkansas controlled the game. They had seen what we do on film and did what everyone else has done. Dare us to beat them through the air. Once again we failed at it. 13 points against the mighty Arkansas defense. That is inexcusable.

I wish they'd cann the 3rd down for what BS. I think our opposition uses it for motivation now.

Why is any of this surprising? I mean come on folks, we have little league coaches trying to make it in the majors.

This, all day.

bUTch is doing the same thing at UT that he did at Cincy.

He brought in a bargain basement coaching staff, some of them already SEC busts -- for an interesting comparison, take a look at the LSU coaching staff to see what a superstar coaching roster can look like.

His buddy DeBoard helped bUTch get the contract extension, and then was paid back with the OC spot. The UM women's synchronized swimming coach hired as OC? The same guy that could not develop Tom Brady? Really?

What amazes me the most is that anyone could eat up the cornball cliches and not see this coming.

My thoughts, we are not playing to team strengths but only to coaches playbook. We have stars all over the field and we are not getting them the ball in open space. Running game improved because Hurd is a beast and Kamara is lightning fast but where are all of our highly recruited receivers? Defense was better last year, how do we step backwards when Reeves-Maybin is stepping up to fill our biggest void? I LOVE MY VOLS, i want to see them in the best chance to succeed!

We are running Hurd a lot, and throwing to both him and Kamara, which is smart. I didn't see the second half, but the play-calling in the first half, unlike last week, was fine--good. We were going in for a TD when Williams fumbled. We are not making any BIG plays, that is a problem, and we did not get anything from Dobbs running the ball. When he has a little room he can run but he didn't try to run much last night. We threw downfield, which we didn't do against florida. We are breaking down, making mistakes, at key moments--and especially in the second half. But the defense got abused in the second half, and that was really the story of the game. We could not stop arky in the second half. We are not good enough offensively or defensively. We play well in the first half and then it all goes to **** in the second.

North,Croom & Pig hurt. P Williams missed pre season. Josh Smith & Wolfe only one's could get separation. Smith targeted 2 times and caught both averaged about 25 yards a catch but was not targeted again not sure why.

@Volquest_Paul: After jumping out to 14-pt, 13-pt and 14-pt leads against OU, UF and Ark, respectively, Vols have been outscored 76-23 in those games.

Me either he showed the best hands last night, i was aware of injuries but i wanted to know why Malone, Jennings, and Pearson who are all capable of making plays were under utilized. Almost seems like icing the kicker but instead we are icing our own receivers. They are not getting enough touches in the game to be ready when their number is called. Smith seems to be the only one looking for the ball on every pass play. Others are used to running all game with minimal to no action.
