This is inexcusable... A complete joke

-UT outrushed 141-4

-Hurd 4 carries 1 yard

-90 yards of offense

I remember spending a solid week earlier this year arguing with people that the DeBord hire would end Butch Jones career

Little did I know Butch has managed to overshadow DeBord's suckage with his own in that time

Really all anyone needed to know was that he did nothing on Offense with Tom Brady

Their offense dominated our defense in the second half. That was the story of the half. Arky had the ball for 22 minutes, and when they didn't have it we were in terrible field position. Both are offense and our defense are mediocre, and worse than mediocre in the second half--and that is why were are losing.

Helped that they kept us to 16 plays or something. But that was a function of our defense's inability to stop them. And our primitive fear of the forward pass.

If UT wasnt broke, I would agree with you. Unfortunately we cannot afford to fire Butch. So its probably another two years or so of the same things we are experiencing now.

Then we need to make his life here so miserable that he will beg to pay us to leave.
Demote him to WR coach or janitor. Let him be the highest paid DJ for pregame music in America. Just find someone who can actually coach and win football games

This is the worst offense I've ever seen, and I didnt think it was possible.

Re: Hurd's yardage in the second half:

Adrian Peterson is the best RB in the league. He averages 6ypc out of the I, and 2ypc from the gun. Our offense is obsolete. Somebody pass that
along to our dunderheaded coach.

What we have are: 1) a quarterback who freaks out about 1.2 seconds into the passing play, 2) an offensive line able to pass block about 1.2 seconds, and 3) receivers who have ZERO ability to separate and get open.

In short,we have a couple of pretty good runners. Not too hard to scheme against that.

Actually, I don't think we're broke anymore. Thanks to our sec network and sec profit sharing, if I recall correctly we've been in the black to the tune of $13m a year or so.

Arkansas made adjustments, UT didn't.

I do believe this staff struggles to make adjustments. I like Butch, but his cohorts dont seem to have it. Azzani maybe one of the most over rated coaches in America. I cant believe people view him as a future hc. Jancek isnt bad but he doesnt make great adjustments either. Debord brought no outside knowledge. He runs Butch's system and isnt very innovative. Should have looked at an outsider for help for the offense. Still plenty of season but it looks like we fight and struggle for our 6 wins.

Its amazing the amount of athletic facility upgrades we have accomplished being "broke" the last few years.

How about some more stats.

We have the 102 ranked passing offense. To put that into perspective, Vandy is ranked 34th.
