No way...Not now Monte is coming in as this will help his stock in this Defense

There are definitely significant pros/cons to both sides.

He will be marketed as a Tampa 2 style player given his size and speed (I can't remember if he struggled in coverage, I think he did). If he stays, he could find a definite role in a very good transition period as a Tampa 2 LB. Again, given Monte installs the Tennessee 2 (step) at the Hill.

Or he could chance it and go Pro and not risk being injured. He might take a page from Foster's book and not play his cards poorly.

That said, I think it would be a very poor choice for him to leave.

No, He is held up high due to big hits he makes
The NFL doesn't like it when U miss every other tackle, big hit or not.

mccoy is not really a playmaker. all the intangables, but just doesnt dominate... ever. Dan williams should be leaving. he was very good this year and was unlbockable at times. run stuffer supreme. Defense could be special next year.

Dan needs to stay...he'll improve his stock by being a senior leader. If I was in his position I would wanna learn from big daddy K...and maybe Big O the swarm

Who? I remember a Rico McCoy a few years ago but thought he left with Mayo and Karl. I actually thought UT went to a single LB set last year with McKenzie being the guy.

If/when could there be a rookie salary cap put in place in the NFL?
That could play a huge role in the decision making process.

I think he stays, he needed to stay regardless, but with Monte coming in now, he would be stupid to go.

Neither should turn pro..... You have the best defensive co. in the NFL coming to Tennessee who better to learn from and boost your stock.
