Ricky Williams

Are the Dolphins that desperate to engage in talks to bring back this nutcase that walked out on them without any warning and was a key part of their dismal season last year?

How convienet it must be for Ricky to avoid drug suspensions, a head coach, and who know what else by deciding to retire and tour the world (or whatever he called his weed smoking journey). Now that the bills are adding up and coming due, he thinks he might grace the Dolphins with his presence to collect a check, avoid the big payback he due them, and also avoid the majority of the drug suspension that the NFL was about to lower on him last year.

I don't care how good of a talent this weirdo is, to walk out on your team should be the final nail and end of discussion. I am suprised that Saban would entertain talks with such a potential disaster and added distraction for him in his first NFL season. Not the kind of baggage I would want to purchase before my first flight.

Would love to hear some of the Dolphins fans take on this developing story.

I don't think this has anything to do with forgiving Ricky Williams.

The Dolphins aren't acting desperate, just doing what they have to do to make Ricky have some value so that they can trade him somewhere for a draft pick and not be left completely high and dry.

I hope you are right about that. If he plays at all for the Dolphins, I think it is a slap in the face to the Dolphin players from last season.

Not even a Dolphin fan, just don't care for selfish quitters.

:thumbsup: Bring him back and YES trade him to help feel another position. IMO Ronnie will be a special NFL back so the fishes are set with him.

exactly....a trade for a fine blocking fullback would be excellent, or possibly a left tackle.

He won't be able to walk away from Mary Jane long enough to play football again....If he does come back to the Dolphins they might bring him back and trade him because he has to serve a 4 game suspension early in the year for previous drug offense.....Who knows

The trade scenario seems to be the most likely scenario for the Dolphins, but I can't believe there will be a single GM in the league who will be willing to go out on a limb for this guy. It'll be a miracle if the the Dolphins get anything more than a mid to late round draft pick.

Ricky is a complete idiot who will never play more then 2-3 seasons

BUT

If they can get Ricky to run for them, more power to them.

Ricky is an AHole of a person but a pretty good RB

I agree, the guy shouldnt have much of, if any future left in the NFL.

The phins just want their $$ back, and i do not blame them. But to trade him might be equally as hard.
