We won't spend 2 million on a washed up coach like Barnes. He was making 2.5 at Texas, so even with a pay cut, I'd bet it would take at least 2 million for his services.

He is also getting a buyout from Texas.

Yeah, and it'll stabilize things - essentially exactly what Hart wants. Of course, if Hart hadn't effed up last year's search to bits, this wouldn't be taking place, but hindsight, etc...
