If we do hire Rick Barnes do we get him in here for an interview tomorrow, and then introduce him Tuesday? I think if we're planning on getting him we should get everything nailed down in the next couple days. I really think its between us and Alabama if we both want Rick Barnes, and I'd say we definitely do. Offer 2 mill and call it a search!

Bama only cares about football - UT fans however have shown in the very recent past their passion for hoops!!! Barnes saw it first hand himself.

I really hope they're involving Ernie, he suggested Jay Wright when we hired Buzz and he suggested we hire Pearl. Barnes or not they should definitely get Ernie involved.

A They are all too old to coach for the Vols (according to Volnation experts)

B They're all much better coaches than Barnes.

Barnes has shown he is a good coach early on at Providence, Clemson and Texas, but I don't think he is the long term solution. He is 60. Underwood would be a good long term coach.
