Except that there are more than 300 teams competing in basketball and about 120 in football. This is more like the football team sticking with Bama.

From what i watched Nova finally started playing like a #5 team.
Very few uncontested shots for us in the second half.
Even with a loss this game helps our rpi .
At least we don't have to worry about the mad streaker.

It's not just Jay Wright. Philadelphia is one of the biggest cities in the country and Villanova has a legacy of being one of the original Big East members. Wright wouldn't guarantee success at UT. BUT, no doubt he is several levels better than Buzz.

Damn we’re making the NCAA Tourney one day and we suck the next. It’s freaking November and realize we’re improved but we’re not gonna win it all. SMDH!

This is so volnation bs it just never stops. They played well and will be pretty good but give it a rest on beating the number 5 team making it look like we were upset

What did Nova shoot in the 2nd half? Did you see the numbers of free throws attempted? Did you look at how many turnovers we had? How many rebounds did Alexander have ripped way from him? I dont see Barnes as able to control any of that all that much during a game. All you can do is regroup, keep looking for what works and encourage the kids. I'm disappointed in the lead disappearing so quickly but we gotta take a lesson from it. This team is gonna win a bunch of games if we continie to improve.

It's comedic.

Tennessee fouled too much(Nova also hit about 99%ft), got outrebounded and had a few very untimely turnovers...gives the coaches something to work on with the kids. Have a winnable game tomorrow and everyone would've gladly signed up for 2-1 with a top 20 win, that's still on the table.

OP started hitting Thanksgiving scotch a little to early lol. Vols fought hard and never gave up! I'd love a rematch of this game in the tourney. Gonna be a good season. Go vols!!

They've beaten two of three qualify teams , Clemson and Purdue. Scared the **** out of Villanova. I look forward to the laying the wood to the next team, probably NC State.

Seriously man, we had a back to back with the first team actually being good, and Villanova had a cake first game against Western Kentucky. It’s natural to have a letdown in the second half at some point.
