If he had just one loss he would have had a legitimate grip, but with two losses and not even playing in the championship, he had better be thankful of going to a BCS Bowl, period!

I think Vandy should have gotten consideration. Who said you had to win 6 games to play for the NC?

Shocked! I mean you got pick LSU over UGA. Even Lou Holtz can see that.

LSU won their division and conference ship with losses in 3 OT's.

Now having said that LSU is very lucky to have got out of SEC championship with the win. UT should have put that game away.

I hate UGA as much as anyone but I would want my coach out there making the case too. That said, that isn't the case I would want him to make.

Barry Switzer and Jimmy Johnson could barely keep from laughing at him.

I find it odd because the papers here said RIcht wAs not going to lobby for the NC game,they would be happy with what they get and he wasn't going to do that because it wouldn't matter. Not sure why the change in his response.

Because he had just come out of the team room where he had to tell them they were not good enough to play for the title.
I read his comments all week also, but he did a major sob job on TV.

I wonder how much the drop in strength of schedule hurt UGA when the Vols lost? If UTK had won the SECCG and everything else stayed the same, who knows?

I had a UGA fan tell me today that they were co-eastern division champs this season and runner up for the conference championship. They actually believe this stuff...

You know LSU hasn't lost a game in regulation this year. They are an extremely good team. And dangit we had them on their heels.

people in GA are a different breed, they are lacking that feature in most human beings called common sense. they are trying to think of every reason they can to justify their season. I cant wait to hear what one of my co-workers who is a UGA fan has to say about how it isnt fair that they are not in the NC game.
