Lots of folks from out of town buy season tickets to support the program financially and yes, there needs to be an easy system in place for those supporters to sell or donate their tickets to locals when they cannot attendI think the feeding frenzy for NCAA tickets last year drove some of these ticket sales. Why in the world would you buy season tickets if you lived in Nashville? Three nights hotel bill every other weekend? I think they just wanted first option on post season and to hell with the rest of the season.

They no longer allow transferring baseball tickets to Vivid. we need a site for VOL fans to transfer to Vol fans at face value or to donate to local charities like Big Brothers/Sisters, AMACHI, etcIt is clear UTAD arrangement with Vivid Seats is keeping them from setting up a more fan friendly in-house exchange.
For me it was a bucket list purchase. I finally moved backed to Tennessee and wanted tickets. I’ve been selling unused tickets at a very reasonable rate.I think the feeding frenzy for NCAA tickets last year drove some of these ticket sales. There is a way to transfer tickets. I have been getting an email from UT before every game (at least the mid-week games) to transfer to students or other fans. I’ve never paid attention to how the process works though. They no longer allow transferring baseball tickets to Vivid. we need a site for VOL fans to transfer to Vol fans at face value or to donate to local charities like Big Brothers/Sisters, AMACHI, etc
Curious if anyone attending has seen Earl and Judy Brown...great Vol Fans that have multiple sports season tickets.Football, both basketball teams and baseball...There is a way to transfer tickets. Yep. It’s easy to transfer to specific people but just not easy to post on Vivid. They used to allow you to automatically transfer to Vivid but that’s no longer an option. This would help season ticket holders distribute their seats to the mass market when not using. I sometimes have trouble finding folks who can use mine even when I’m giving them away. I could post on Vivid for virtually free (or a reasonable price) so they wouldn’t go unused. There is a way to transfer tickets. Very dedicated to Vol baseball attended virtually every game....have't seen them this year...
Earl had heart surgery a few weeks ago. Haven’t heard any updates and hope he’s on his way to a full recovery. They are a VFL couple if there ever was one. I met him a few months ago and he couldn’t have been any nicer or more humble.Curious if anyone attending has seen Earl and Judy Brown...great Vol Fans that have multiple sports season tickets.Football, both basketball teams and baseball...

That’s a pretty broad brush you’re painting with. I have season tickets and drive from Atlanta virtually every weekend, and have been to several mid week games as well. Another couple drives down from Indiana every weekend. I work hard to ensure they are used when I can’t go, but the reality is I have trouble giving them away. I’m sure that will change now that the weather is improving, SEC conference play has started, and since basketball is over. I’d like to start a website where Vol fans agree to provide unused tix to other Vol fans (or charities) at or below face value (or for free).I think the feeding frenzy for NCAA tickets last year drove some of these ticket sales.
