He really played a great game against Kentucky. Had 2 sacks and nice interception when Mayo jarred the ball lose. Willingham seemed to be the one the Cats attacked. He played way to far off their WR's and never looked for the ball on deep passes. Will Kemp see more PT after todays performance?
“He’s probably the player of the game,” Mayo said. “I had a conversation with Ricardo before the game. He had a feeling he was going to have a big game.
“Ricardo was coming off the edge and made a lot of plays for us today.”
Kemp played awesome, but what was the deal on his INT when he returned it he just fell on the ground on his own? It looked like he could have run for at least another 10 yds or more.
He just wanted to get down to protect the ball and prevent fumbling it. I was happy he did it at the time... but it was disgusting when we dropped a 3rd down pass that would have sealed the game.
