Im watching vikes/saints and I have seen about 10 ME2 commercials...My wife asked what the big deal is about that game.

Yeah I've been seeing a ton of commercials for it lately. Using football to put it out of my mind so those ads aren't helping. And for the terminus armor you only need to pre-order since not all gamestops are doing midnight releases. I assume they'll give you a code to input when you pickup the game. I got the other one from amazon and they said they'll email their code.

I have seen on three different loading screens that they are talking about decisions that you make in ME3 will have dire ramifications to you in ME3. I guess that is an unofficial announcement of ME3? If it is an improvement of ME2, it will be insane.

Yeah they've said from the beginning that it was going to be a trilogy. I've even heard some decisions from 1 will carry over to the 3rd. The depth they're putting in these games is crazy.

Saw where they already put some of the free DLC on the marketplace and some had been taken down already so i'd grab what you can

The free DLC they put up included many of the exclusive store and CE bonuses/items. Some people were able to download everything before they took them down. Not sure why they were even up in the first place.

I heard some people were banned for downloading them. Could have been a coincidental banning, though

So what is the difference in the Collectors version of this game and the regular version?

I am waiting until tomorrow to get it, no way I am staying out past midnight to get it with work tomorrow.

Had to be for something else. They shouldn't be able to ban the people for downloading free stuff they mistakenly put up there. Wish I could've gotten that stuff though. It was like 9 items.

I would agree that you wont get much sleep tonite:) I am now a level 25 Infiltrator and I think that I am just about to the end of the game. Just has that "game is about to end" feel to it, but I could be wrong.

Yes, I think that I only skipped doing about six of the side missions. The good thing about this Mass Effect is on the star charts that you use for navigation to other galaxies and crap, under each planet there is a drop down box that tells you what mission is there. That was one fo the things I didnt like about ME1, I would always forget where the heck I was supposed to go.:)

I picked up my collector's edition today. The packaging is beautiful, and I have codes for a few bonus armors and guns. I can't tell you if it was worth it yet, but so far I am pleased.

Opening sequence of events was special. Reminded me a little bit of the Metal Gear games, how they would start with something crazy happening.

Holy crap. I have never been this tired at work. Stayed up until 3am and the alarm went off at 5:30.

*****Potential Spoiler if you havent played the game****






The part where you go to the Normandy crash site was pretty cool. The galaxy map is massive, almost too big to get your head around. The way you travel in the Normandy is pretty cool, needing fuel and what not. Cant wait to get home and play.

I was a good little boy and only went to bed at 1:30. Basically, I only have gotten as far as talking to the Illusive Man... :ermm:

I am thinking about blowing everything off tonight and just playing ME2.

Did you load your guy from ME1 or did you start fresh...Im interested to know who is alive or dead by default if you start fresh.
