It was about the love of all things Tennessee.
It was about not winning at a high level.
It was about big boosters running the show.
It was about picking the wrong AD.
It was about picking the wrong coach.
It was about time to say enough!

My sentiments exactly. Most of us are sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Schiano would have been the best football coach we've had here since Fulmer you fools, and definitely the best we had a shot at

I agree also. What happened yesterday is a complete indictment of the UT Administration, Boosters, etc. top to bottom. Incompetence apparently knows no bounds with regards to UT. A relatively simple task of selecting a football coach turns into a nationally recognized debacle on so many fronts.

Really unbelievable when you think about it.

I believe nothing will change in Knoxville till the powers at be are changed, drained or fired.

The admins have no clue or pulse of what the fanbase needs in a coach that jus proved that yesterday when we all said Hell No

You wonder how the AD thought this guy could win in the SEC when he was 68 and 67 in the Big East. Add that Butch loved to play in that league scoring 69 points on his Rutgers team.
Forget the other baggage guy has never coached a game in the SEC and it is a totally different animal.
He was in the big time for a couple seasons and the results he achieved were terrible.

Then they should just shut her down and we all go golfing, hunting, etc.

We would have got murdered on the recruiting trail. "Oh, you worked at the place that allowed a pedophile to run loose". "He was one of your bosses, yeah nice".

REALLY??? Did you look at his record at Rutgers... just ONE win over .500! Did you see his horrible NFL record... not even close to .500! And did you hear about his relations with coworkers? They say he is very difficult to work with. And, there are allegations that he has a history of being abusive to players.. both on the college level and in the NFL. Oh yeah, then there is that little thing where Schiano allegedly went to Bradley in 1999 and told him that he saw Sandusky "doing something to a boy in the shower," but did not go to the administration or to the police.
