Why are you so worried about it?...Remember, You'll be fishing on saturday :shakehead:

Check the calendar---Today is Monday. No worries here, just wondering why you can't answer a simple question without spewing green slime. What is up with some of you guys always looking for a fight? I am the one. :banghead2:

Nice call out of a poster old enough to be your grand dad. You are indeed a knucklehead. Get back to your Xbox jr.

Thanks---but I am not QUITE THAT OLD--Course if he is 15--:eek:lol: I did however suffer through the early Majors years---hoping UT would win every week, then through the Fulmer Down years, and my ulcers tell me I have earned the right to avoid a whipping if I so choose. Losing I can take, but ineptitude is unbearable. If fans want to watch Cromp-daddy implode this week, that is their choice.

Florida is BEATABLE!!! just not by us in their back yard. chances went from slim to none after yesterday

Not saying we're going to win, but I think the ucla loss actually helps us with uf. I always hate it when the team the Vols are about to play has a bad loss the week before. uf's confidence level just went up tremendously. If CLK can turn the loss into an extremely ticked off Vol team, then who knows.

The truth is:

we play better as HUGE underdogs 'cause ESPN hates us.

I've only been reading these boards for a few weeks, but it seems like everyone thinks we are going to annihilate or be annihilated every game. We're better than troy. No way we get rolled 56-6. We played god awful football Saturday and had a chance to win. Both teams will be pumped for this game, and I expect to see Florida win but I highly doubt they cover 35.

please forgive us if we don't take your betting advice (although it will only cost $200)

Well well well ----Hello again. One thing I have learned about betting---I am the one that pays if I lose---so I can only blame me.
I think anyone would agree that Cromp cost UT the win and the cover-----So I lost----you lost. I guess you want a refund----but the way it works with handicappers is free plays are FREE----no guarantees. :)

Well, in that respect, it will be like every week.

But I am curious as to the percentage of folks who pick UT outright, or make it close and say they would consider it a moral victory.

25% will call for an outright UT win---35% will say UT will keep it within 20---and 40% know what time it is.

I realize this goes against normal logic, but I think TN (including Crompton if he gets the start) will actually play better in the Swamp than if the game were at home. There should actually be less pressure on Crompton knowing he's not playing in front of 100k Vol fanatics waiting for him to mess up. Plus, I think hearing all the Gator fans will actually get our team fired up a bit. Still a loss, but I think we play better.

Crompton is not known to REBOUND. Evidently he is great in practice--(based on 2 coaching staffs assessments)---but under game pressure--:mf_surrender:--NS is just the opposite----The adage that you play like you practice doesn't apply here; Stephens is a gamer.

A person on the staff for Florida was quoted saying he has never seen a team more fired up to play than Florida this week, & that includes the week before they played Georgia last year. To me thats scary for our football team. Our offense wont be able to move the ball against Florida, & Meyer is going to score as many points as he can. I say 56-6 Florida.

So you are basically likening the Vols to a team like Troy....

What is your opinion based on?

Stephens looked good at SC--before Phil pulled him for geting PO"D at a receiver. Phil never let Nick see the huddle after that, seemed someone other than coaches were dictating the starter at QB. Nick is a fiery dude, exactly what is needed to lead an offense---IMO.

The score will be similar. I'm saying 52-9 Florida.

AND Fla will be TRYING this week, not going through the motions and putting up 56 on troy. Urban loves to cover the spread, (some UF boosters are big gamblers) so look for as many points as possible. I read on a wagering forum that urbie has a shoebox stash for kickbacks from these guys.

Meyer will be looking to really run up the score, since he doesn't like UT or Lane Kiffin, but Monte's D will keep the score down.
