He was playing so well, I loved his passion and eye for the ball carrier. He will be a big loss for the D.

I was so happy for the kid this season and now things have gone bad for him. Wish him the best and for a speedy recovery. We will miss him on the field but right now the most important thing is his health. A W is a W but with all the injuries it made it very sour.

This feels a bit like the aftermath of the Air Force '06 game...although, Inky was hurt much worse, of course. Was Herman Lathers hurt going into tonight's game, or was he hurt during it? We lost Inky and Justin (for all intents and purposes) in that one game in '06.

It killed me tonight to see NR got down. Next to EB, he has been the standout on D. From what I gathered, he is likely done for the year. I hate to see someone with so much heart go down. Such a trooper!!!! May the good Lord bless him with a quick recovery!

Very sad about Reveiz. What a kid, what a story. Let's hope we can get him back next year. We need more players with his fire.

Get well soon, Nick!

Sucks for NR. He was one of the true warriors on our team. Someone needs to step up.

At the end of the game, I saw a huge purple mass on the inside of the knee, unless im to drunk to see?
Sounds like when I broke a blood vessel in my knee... hurt like hell... only kept me inactive for a few days but made running awkward for a while

He's played in too many games to redshirt and I think he's already used his up anyway.
ACL repair and rehab and he should be able to participate in the spring although he will be limited. It takes at least five months of post surgery rehab to be released for most sports activities.

No, unfortunately 5 months is not nearly enough........6-9 months minimum for non-contact activites, 9-12 for contact.......;(

He will miss all of the spring, and hopefully be ready for some summer conditioning, and fall camp........if it's an ACL that is ;(

Anybody hear a cheer coming from slightly behind me (right near the band) when he was laying on the ground?
I almost threw something at them for it. He's laying on the ground and people are trying to break the silence with their own VOLS Spellout. I couldn't believe they would be that stupid.

Sucks, you won't find but maybe 1 or 2 more players on our entire team that had as much heart as Nick Reveiz. Best wishes to him during recovery

Thanks for the education tabrams, and you're spot on from my experience.

I know a kid that tore his ACL in HS....not good. You can come back, but it takes months, and it helps a lot if you're an underclassman. Everyone is different though, and he could be back fall of next year.

Very best wishes and prayers for Nick. What a great story of hard work and passion for his sport. From a great family.

FYI, Gator message boards are noting Eric Berry's late-night Tweet asking for prayers for Nick and for Tim Tebow. We are very appreciative of Eric as a player, for sure, and as a good man. Thanks.
