Does anybody also know if we are losing any underclassmen except for Mayo and poss. Foster. I also heard we had lost a recruit to bama that did not qaulify last year, any info?

Our team will be so deep next year.. it will be the most talented team we'll have in awhile.. it just sux that Florida and Georgia will also have there most talented team in awhile also..
and alot of our success depends on our QB, and how our D-line improves..

We'll have an unknown entity at QB, and we'll have a week defensive line and secondary next year. I'm not really sure where you see all this supposed depth.

I dont agree with the weak secondary next year. I say we grew up alot and they trust each other more and will be one of the top secondarys(sp?) in the SEC if not the nation in my opinion. Our D-Line I thik still has some improvement but I think we can fix that come spring.

Which ones of those can we look to make an impact in 2008?

That comment has no basis in rational thought. California, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, and Kentucky absolutely torched our secondary, while Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and LSU did considerable damage against our secondary. Berry can only play one position. Our secondary will be HIGHLY suspect next year, and it won't receive any help from a weak defensive line generating little to no pass rush.

Berry and Morley were both rated as the best DBs of their respective recruiting classes, and all of these players have seen action/started: Marsalous Johnson, Ricardo Kemp, Brent Vinson, Nevin McKinzie, Antonio Wardlow, and DeAngelo Willingham. I think that's pretty good depth. Hefney took a big step back, Gaines never made the field, and Parrish was okay; they're all gone. I think it's reasonable to expect the secondary will be better next year. I agree about the line, though. My biggest concern for the secondary next year is that they're gonna have to cover receivers for 8-10 seconds for the line to make a play.

Berry will only get better, and we also get Morley back. Vinson looked really good as the year went on, and we have alot of solid depth players as well. I think our secondary will be fine at worst, and a strong point of the team at best.

BTW, McKenzie was moved to LB.

I wouldn't expect any different from you.

The DL will go a long way in determining how good the secondary is.

Our secondary will be HIGHLY suspect next year? Huh? It will be be SOOO much better. Did you not see it improve from the Cal game to the LSU game?

Vandy was our best defensive game yardage wise... secondary & total. 139 yards passing is hardly doing damage.

Who, on the TN staff is saying that Morley will be back this year? I thought he was dismissed from the team.
Also, does anyone know where Slick Shelley transferred to? He was a monster at WR. We made a mistake by not getting him playing time.

What about Chris Donald? I thought he was a redshirt. What about the players who were declared academically ineligible for the bowl? They are still elegible for next season, right?

Is Coleman going to be a redshirt freshman or redshirt sophomore this season?

Donald was redshirted and should be able to play next season as a RS freshman.

Coleman = RS freshman next year
