Return of the Fulmerites

I won't pull any punches. I am a full-blown Fulmerite. As far as I'm concerned this is karma coming back around. And hopefully this will remove the Dark Cloud off of this program that has hung over it since Fulmer's firing.

In all seriousness, if Fulmer successfully guides Tennessee out of this mess it would be statue worthy.

I would think that you Gators would be very concerned about your choice of Mullen for the Head man.....

Do you think he's gonna be able to lead you all to the promised land? And if so--why?

Step your millennial ass right on up and start donating. Until then, sit down, shut up, and let the adults talk. You have no due, you aren't owed a damn thing but you got one thing right, you are special.

Edit:. You guys are so much nicer than I am. I have a real issue with this **** since both of my kids are considered millennials. They would beat this guys ass. They despise most of their supposed generation.

They take after their father obviously

Whatever. You really gouged me with the Gruden comment LOL

Traded one self serving turd for an older, previously unemployed self-serving turd who hasn't been in football for 10 years.

Handing the keys to the guy that put us in the ditch in the first place is beyond stupid.

Crap! My sarcasm comes back to bite me. You’re right about the trading of turds. However this time he’s in a different function.
I think we’re in a better place than we were a few days ago. How much better (if at all, as you point out) only time will tell. If the chosen one of some on here comes, I’ll be the first to eat the required crow.

You and me both will be sharing that crow bud.

Not too worried about it though and I have plenty of Franks to choke it down with if he did somehow manage to land the great white grude.

I'm speaking as a Vol fan from the Millennial generation. My generation is tired of old white retreads making all of the decisions regarding coaching hires, coaching firings, financial decisions etc. We need a youth movement in all areas of our athletic administration from the BOT down to the waterboy on the team. We are a generation that is used to expressing our valuable opinions on social media and effecting change with those opinions. We do not like or appreciate top down, authoritative decision making from out of touch old white men when it has a huge effect on the world we live in. We as a generation understand the times better than those over age 45 and it is high time that we are given our due in the decision making on the Hill. Not only here but across this country in all areas of social, political, financial and religious areas of society. We are the future and we are a special generation who has arrived at just the right time to move this country and the world in a better direction based on our vision for the future.

lol...not sure what you are on, but I bet it isn't a j-o-b.

Damn, I think I love you. My daughter is a millennial and she gets worked up when she hears these types whine about what they are owed. When she became of age taught her how to change a flat and how to shoot. Liked the 9 I gave her but she wanted a real sidearm and went and got herself a 1911. Guaranteed she could take care of any whiny ass libtard.

we just gave the keys to the guy who ran us into the ditch. has there ever been a fired coach who was hired as the ad? could be another first. only at tn would you fire a guy then hire him to essentially replace himself. unbelievable.

Maybe you missed the last 3 quality ADs we had.

This guy got way too many participation trophies! What an ignorant post, I hope he was just trolling.

I’m posting too much in this thread, I apologize but I just cannot resist.

I’m reminded of a Helen Reddy song.

You sure are special.

Note in his speech today he said “the direction of the program the last 9 years” or, since his well deserved firing. Way to man up to your own failings there, Phil. He still won’t admit any wrongdoing.

Fulmer took us to the top of college football, he also took us to the bottom. It would be nice to see him at least recognize that.

I’m prepared to be underwhelmed by his choice for coach.

CPF did take us to the top, but he never did the latter. That was done by his replacements.

There is no way in hell Fulmer hires anyone that can possibly upstage him much les the guy who replaced him.

I won't be remotely surprised if he brings in Torbush from ETSU and throws Randy Sanders a bone.

If Jimbo has any shred of common sense, he is leaving Randy in Tallahassee.

Fulmer cares much more about the university than his legacy at UT. He wouldn't hire someone who sucked just so he could remain the pinnacle of success in the 'modern era' of TN football. Ludicrous statement.

I'm 30 and you damn sure don't speak for me.

Glad to see Fulmer's still delusional about himself. Had to love the "some of the people who said no may be interested now" statement insinuating that because he's in the job it will attract good coaches.

We'll see how this turns out.

Yeah. Why would we ever want to go back to a time of beating bama regularly and fighting for sec championships every year and being perennial top 10 team

We haven't been a national contender since 2001, EXCEPT in preseason polls.

Funny how all the Fulmerites have selective memory syndrome
