2. What is the most important improvment I would like to see from the VOLS this weekend? Cromptons play
3. What would you like to see most from our coaching staff this weekend? adjustments

I agree with you pretty much exactly, exept the first question, I'd say 74...but that's wishful thinking anyway. Definitely want to see Cromp improve dramatically. I think we should run more, and I would like to see our D step up and not cushion the receivers..and blitz a little more maybe....who knows.

(1) Irrelavent, We'll put up plenty against them.
(2) We'll look improved its uab. But really yeah crompton's play is numero uno.
(3) There's still hope for clawson. Phil and john are beyond help.

What do you feel?
Honestly... almost completely disinterested.

Nothing we do against Unable to Advance the Ball will give us any indication of whether there has been any improvement made.

We are going to be flying blind into Florida week. I got no clue what will happen.

42-0 and I am happy.
To see our DB's jamming the receivers at the los.
Do not take the foot off the gas!

OWH, is that your quote, or did you swipe it from Fulmer's "pre-Florida game" press notes?

1. 14 points (I agree with you there)
2. Cromptons play is very important. I want to see special teams improvment also.
3. Hmm How about more agressive play calling. (I know thats not likely to happen but a person can always hope)

first off, if we dont put up more than 30 points and show some kind of rythim i am going to be upset. Crompton needs to show that he is the leader of this team. i expect foster and hardesty to both be over 100 yards rushing. i would like to see gerald jones have at least 15 touches. Maybe this is the week that the d-line can get some sacks. i want to see the corners play bump and run all day. its ok to give up a big play once in a while. i want to see us extend the lead and win convincingly. I AM NOT WORRIED AT ALL ABOUT FLORIDA THIS WEEK. talk to me saturday after the game about that.

Fla Atlantic beat them 49-34 (15 pts)
Tulsa beat them 45-22 (23 pts)
We just lost to a mediocre JV team on Nat'l TV

If we don't cover the spread (-30) then something is wrong, if it wasn't apparent already.

I want 28 pts from the 1st team offense
14 pts from 1st team defense
and 10-14 from 2nd team offense

Let the Blazers have 14 or so in garbage time, then hopefully watch the Cocks knock off the Dawgs... is all that asking too much?

If Tulsa can put up 45 points on UAB, I expect us to at least match that. I also expect our defense to hold them ot less than 22 points (what Tulsa's D allowed).

UAB allowed late scores in both the FAU and Tulsa games. UAB was actually trailing by 8pts against FAU and had driven down deep in FAU territory, but failed to convert a 4th down attempt. FAU took over and scored their final TD with 40 seconds remaining on like a 70+ yard breakaway rush.

UAB led Tulsa at the half, 22-21... but the offense turned the ball over twice in the second half and ultimately failed to score. And again... Tulsa was #1 in the nation in offense last year... averaging 520 yards per game. Tulsa scored 56pts on North Texas just this past week. Tulsa scored 45pts on UAB (and 1 TD was a gift to them when the UAB DB was pushed down/fell leaving a wide-open 70-yard TD pass).

UT should win, but you're putting yourself at risk of disappointment by lack of knowledge about the offenses UAB has faced.

UT should score at will against UAB, and They will and get everybody excited about playing UF thinking the offense is ready to rock and roll and got all the kinks out, don't be fooled, UAB's defense is horrible and no indication of what We will do against UF...This is pretty much a warm up game to get everything worked out.
