I know everyone probably doesn't want to see a new thread, but they are being posted all over, so just post him in here now.

I predict losses to Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Arkansas, and either MSU or Kentucky.

As bad as i hate to admit it, I think you may be right.
Arky state is a very, very dangerous game for us as well.

I predict we will all need greecian formula for men after all our hair turns gray from watching this comedy of errors that has become tennessee football.Then we can all stop in at hair club for men after it all falls out.

Arky State gave Texas fits, but if we lose that one we need a mid-year coach change.

The problem is that Fulmer has been carfull not to have a 'Majors" pulled on him by not having any young talent.

How may UT assistants have gotten head coaching jobs in the last 5 years??

arkansas is definitely a loss. by the time we play them, they'll have Monk back catching balls, so then they'll have a running game AND a passing game. of course, with mcfadden and jones taking kick-offs and punts, their offense may never actually have to step onto the field.

Bama is a loss. we'll get outcoached and outplayed.

Carolina is a toss-up to me. I think Spurrier will figure out a way to win.

I don't know about Georgia -- I haven't been able to watch them play and haven't looked at any stats.
I think Ark St is a toss up but we'll probably figure out a way to win that one.

Miss State is definitely a toss-up... I think State and Tennessee have about the same philosophy -- it all depends on which team is gonna show up? ...
I think State CAN win --- Auburn is overranked, but Auburn would kick our ass, too. So... I can't call that one.

Kentucky is a loss. No way our defense can deal with a QB like Woodson. Randy Sanders gets revenge!!!

Vandy -- again, it's too tough to call..
either we're pissed off enough by the time this game rolls around, that we win by 4 touchdowns... or we just don't care anymore and lose a close one.

LA-Lafayette -- we should probably win that one.


So.. I think Bama, Arkansas, Carolina, and Kentucky equate to 4 losses for us..

At the very best, I see us at 6-6 at the end of the season.

Given the facts that (a) the coaching staff is clearly out of their league (no pun intended), and (b) the players are grumbling, openly.....

A 7-5 record would have to be considered an accomplishment.

Unfortunately, that's probably exactly what Fulmer would call it.

7-5 is possible because even a dog finds a bone now and then...

Just call me hatvol, jr. for the rest of the season.
I'm really torn between wanting Tennessee to win because well, I'm a Tennessee alum and fan.... on the other hand, I hope we lose however many games necessary in order to get Fulmer AND Chavis (at least those two) FIRED.

I don't wish ill will on the football team.But i don't think you will have to worry about this team winning enough games to save face.It's going to be a long painful season.

i hope all of our top rated prospects transfer and that we lose the rest of our games... maybe then we could get some new coaches up in here

It's gonna take a few more embarrasing losses for Fulmer to be canned. That's the sad part.

While I see a season = to or worse than 05, I would never hope our players to transfer and we lose the rest of our games. I do hope we have some coaching changes, but never would I wish ill will on my team!

It's good to see Arkansas and Alabama don't fold when things don't go there way. Do you think the Vols would rally back this year if they got down 21 points the way Arky did? Do you think the Vols would manage to get it back together if they lost a huge lead the way Bama did? Those two teams will destroy us.

Well,I love the Vols,but I see so many problems,on both sides of the ball,discipline,but mostly coaching. I will be shocked if we win another game. :cray:

I don't think we will lose five games. We lost to two top-10 teams on the road in hostile environments. We may lose to Bama, Carolina, or Kentucky, but I think only one and a possibility of two of those games.
