I really thought that we would be 7-5 this season with an outside chance to be 8-4, which still could happen. So I think we get wins here:

South Carolina (tossup IMO, possibly 5th loss)

i can still see anywhere from 9-3 (if there is any karma at all, 10-2 for the lsu debacle from last year) to 5-7.

I would give my first born child to be 10-2 but that means that we have to only get beat by one of these teams and win the rest...Georgia, Bama, LSU, South Carolina, Arkansas...just cant see it unfortunately, and I pray that Dooley finishes at least 7-5 (not 5-7) cause if he does the freakin Monday morning coaches will be out calling for us to hire Minnesota's HC. Honestly I have come to terms with a 7-5 season, and ecstatic to have an 8-4 season. But there is a lots of football to play and some eager coaches and players at the good ole U of T so who knows. Vegas gives us 125/1 to make the 'ship so they are saying we have a chance :)

Why do you people think we can beat South Carolina? We have faced 2 good backs so far Pead, Rainey and they ran wild on us. If we do not get out D fixed Lattimore will have a field day. I hope we beat SC but if Garcia does not have a bad game i just do not see it this year.

They don't have a QB right now, so they run the ball all the time. They have a defense that is starting to wake up too, especially their Dline. But when Garcia threw 4 interceptions yesterday against Vandy, this should have rang bells in your head. If not this year it will happen next year.

agreed and Garcia is better than connor shaw even with the 4 pics - they are very vulnerable this year and will be more vulnerable next year

Arkansas is much more winnable than SC. Their D line will allow them to drop 6 or 7 to reduce Brays effectiveness. Our front 7 cannot stop Lattimore. If Garcia comes to the game sober SC should win this one easily. We need to beat GA because the rest of October does not look good. I can see us running the table after that however. So 6-6 or 7-5 and with a whole lotta luck 8-4.

Can't really judge Arkansas right now. The only good competition they've played so far is Bama. I'd like to see how well they do with more SEC competition. Bama ran away with it, too.

We aren't beating Arkansas. Our secondary will get abused. We get no pressure on QBs and can't tackle. Arky may score 40+ on us.

The two god backs we have faced are small, quick and make you miss in space. Lattimore is a down hill runner. We will load the box and stop him. This game will rely on the arms of Garcia and Bray. I will take Bray.

If our newbie WRs rise to the occasion we have a legit shot at UGA, USCe and ARK. Could win them all or lose them all and anything in between. Much depends on an improved running game as well.

LSU is a better team than they were last season. They have a quarterback who knows the playbook this season. So, they are improved from last seasons team.
Arkansas has no running game from Joe Adams, so that is their weakness. However; they are coached very well.

7-5. Buffalo, MTSU, UK (this will be 27, right?), Vandy, and either SC or UGA for the 7th win.

We could reasonably beat both SC and UGA, but we're probably not that lucky.

Ga, SC and AR are like us, they all have a phase of their game that is not great but also a phase or phases they're good at. If we win one of these 3 I'm happy. If we win none I'm dissapointed. If we were to win 2 of 3 I'd be ecstatic.

Of the LSU, AL matchups I'd have given us some hope with Hunter but without him I'm calling it a snowball's chance. AL would have to toss picks and LSU would have to fall asleep or get banged up. We are a lot like AR and so I watched the AL AR game looking for how the matchup for us might go and while TB is better with us playing in Tuskalooser I don't see how we get it done after watching them stop AR's passing game.

Garcia just sucks ,friend.A good home field night crowd would send him puking.

I dont watch a lot of SEC games live as I travel to all the games, but I watched South Carolina last night and they are VERY beatable if Drunkie John has an average night.

This team is just not physical enough, will win aganist vandy, kentucky, MTSU, buffalo and lose the rest. Will go 6 - 6 bowling in Memphis. I really hope I am wrong.

South Carolina is worse than most thought, but they get an off week before the TN game. While TN comes off Bama and LSU.
