Rest In Peace

my dad
the best man I ever knew
1935-2025, a little less than five months short of 90
he and mom were married for 69 years
Sorry man. 90 is a great life but it doesn't fill the sudden gap. Mine was in 2018 to prostate cancer at 82. Mom in 2020. Same sentiment. Truly a great person, and had the rep outside the family as such. His greatest lesson in life was the only thing you take when you die is your name, so keep it a good name. The greatest gift was having parents you were proud to respect.

Hardest thing for me has been knocking on 60 and realizing I'm in his shoes now to my kids and grandkids. But, they laid the proper path for growing into that role.

I read a meme that said someone hurry and wrap Willie Nelson in bubble wrap lol.

Someone check on Dolly too.

And Mel Brooks, Gene Shalit, Captain Kirk, Carol Burnett, Dick Van Dyke, June Lockhart, William Daniels, Sophia Loren, Clint Eastwood, Rita Moreno, Tippi Hedren, Doc Severinson, Robert Duvall, Angie Dickinson, Jaye P. Morgan, Ronnie Schell, Shirley MacLaine, Michael Caine, and a bunch more pushing 90.
