Rest In Peace

RIP to the true king of rock n roll.

So many fond memories of jamming out to Ozzy with my dad. We didn’t align in musical taste much, but Ozzy was one of the few musicians we both loved equally. This one hurts.

I dunno where he’s going after this one. But what I do know is, it’s gonna be a party. Rest in peace, Prince of Darkness.

I got in big trouble for buying Diary of a Madman and I was already in trouble for other reasons. I went to the mall with my Mom and split off to go to the record store and buy it. It is not easy to hide an album in your shirt.

Funny thing is, I already had a bunch of Sabbath albums. My parents did not like the bat rumor.

there is an Ozzy-Nashville connection.

Back in the late 70s Black Sabbath had a concert scheduled for Municipal Auditorium. Ozzy was staying at the Sheraton near by (the one with the revolving restaurant on top). He got so messed up the had to cancel the concert. The people lined up to get in rioted and broke out windows.
And Black Sabbath’s opening act: Van Halen
