I got to meet Mr. Jocketty when I worked for the rookie affiliate. lol, we were under strict orders from our GM not to bother or talk to him. But as I was coming back from getting lineups, he stopped me in the breezeway and spoke to me for about five minutes. Whole conversation was him asking about me, what I did, my goals, etc. what I remember more than anything was that I could see my GM in our press box freaking out thinking I’d say something dumb. Mr. Jocketty told my GM he was impressed with me so I guess I did alright.
