Becoming too common, trying to kill, or wanting people dead because they believe differently politically. I know Facebook is mostly crazy, but it's sad seeing people celebrating this.

It hit me harder than I expected. We discussed him not long ago here in the Zone and although some liked him more than others no one was disrespectful at all.

I didn't always agree with some of his mannerisms but over all I shared his beliefs. Spiritual and political. I thought what he did and how he went about it was a good thing. I also thought it was dangerous. That might be part or all of why its affected me the way it has.

So sad seeing the pics of him and his family.

Man I hate that....I hadn't thought about her in years, but Polly Holliday was my kinda people. I might have been in a minority but I always liked Flo's Yellow Rose spinoff too. She always cracked me up. Very talanted actress with great comedic timing, and her southern-ism was legit. .

Agree about the discord, just don't see in the Middle TN area where I live. I'm in my 70s, grew up in East TN. People don't listen or watch the media like then. They seem more involved with families,local community, events to help one another. We are not wealthy, live in a diverse, rural area that is easily accessible to Nashville,etc. I make it a point to read major news sites and watch as little TV as possible. Looking forward to going to Vols game today.

My father is in middle Tennessee, Robertson County.

We're good but the last contact I had with him was Thursday night. My last text to him was "Ill agree to disagree".

Long story short he tried telling me I was wrong because his Facebook was flooded with prayers and good thoughts/comments about Charlie. His Facebook with probably a sample size of less than 50 people all from middle TN.

"There is a lot of hate towards Charlie and people celebrating his death. Evil has been normalized".

That was what started it. Ill let it cool down before Ill text and ask how the weather is and if hes planned to bow hunt soon. Lol.

Robertson co is very nice middle class area that has seen tremendous growth like all of Middle TN. Sad about the number of
Older people who choose to follow Facebook and watch one channel on TV. I made a deliberate choice to go to local Y every morning to exercise and engage with as many young people, children and those lot other races, etc. Choose to smile more, be relaxed, etc. Have adult son with intellectual disability who loves to talk when I take him to y in afternoon 4 days a week. I'm blessed to see the number of staff, members and senior citizens who are so kind to him. They are also many kind people in Knoxville. It's not about you as you get older, look for blessings everyday. It can change quickly.

I'm from Oak Ridge, but live in Hermitage now. Almost in Mt. Juliet. Actually, Live in Nashville. Hermitage is just a Post Office/Mailing Address.
Lady next door watches one channel. Seldom gets out of her home.
