This is a precaution thread.

Several commitments and family members of commitments visit this forum. With a coaching change, there is always speculation about "who might be asked to look around", as the new coach begins to evaluate recruits.

I would ask that we respect all of those who have chose to wear the orange, by leaving their names out of any discussion. Let the coaching staff make any decisions necessary, but I feel that for us to sit behind our keyboards and try to judge what may happen is not fair to those who have earned a scholarship offer so far.

Let the chips fall where they may. :hi:

Quick to react, slow to understand... par for the course.

The message has nothing to do with "saying whatever I want about the new coach", but rather not publicly speculating who may be asked "to look around." I thought that point was quite clear. I must do better in the future.

The concept is still the same - you want us to not say what we might want to say because recruits base their decisions on where to go to college off message boards. BS.

1. It has happened before. Crazy fans have turned players off to a school. It may not be the norm, but don't act like it's never happened.

2. You are still missing the point. I don't even know what to say anymore. Maybe someone else can explain it to you.

It was clear and a good post.. seems like fade just argues for the sake of arguing.

So since he would have a 5 yr contract, he would give up on this year's recruiting and keep all the "dooley diamonds" when he could bring in better players. I certainly hope not. We need talented players now, not next year.

I don't think any recruits will be asked to look around with this hire, if thats what you were looking for in the bump.
