thats not what i'm talking about. i'm talking about the other stuff in your inventory thats not configured to the up, down, left, and right buttons on the d-pad. if i have a machine gun in the slot in the upper right hand corner of my d-pad that i want to use....i have to stop, press y, select it, and hit equip...not to mention that this is during combat alot of the time. it's a major pain
Always keep your weapons in one of the cardinal D-pad spots. I never needed to carry around more than 4 types of weapons, so this system never bothered me. I liked to keep a pistol or magnum at up, rifle at left, shotgun at right, and grenades at down.

Combining herbs and giving them to the Sheva also helps clear up some space, and she is pretty good at watching your health meter during combat.

I don't think I played more than two missions by myself. It was unbearable playing with Sheva. Anytime I tried to shoot someone she would stand directly between me & my target....among other things.

Bigdaddy & I played through it several times & had some laughs throughout.

I cleared up every original achievement for it so I'm done with it now. I will not download the multiplayer DLC. Not gonna happen.

finally put away wesker and beat this last night. good game overall. i still think the controls are somewhat sluggish, but the rest of the game makes up for it IMO. very good campaign with awesome boss fights. played some co-op last night too after beating it by myself and had alot of fun. definitely worth the playthrough.

i will add, though, that the apple has fallen far from the tree since the earlier games in the series. RE 5 is hardly anything but scary
