Request from Phil Fulmer

It is really the timing of the statement that opens CPF up to criticism. From what I have heard there were about 80-85,000 people at the LaLa game. As previously stated, if he does his job, attendance will never slip below 100,000.

agreed.. i think people should be required to pass a spelling/grammar test to have internet access at their house...just my very humble opinion

Well, you realize that 90% of the posters on this board would be out of luck.

Unfortunately, our team needs all the help they can get this year. If the crowd being loud is going to help them, then by all means, let's all do our part and help as much as we can! It's helped at the 2 biggest home games we had so far this year.
No one is really giving our guys a chance to win this game, but hopefully they believe themselves that they can win. We need to support them all we can.
This is OUR team, and this is OUR house!!!

This is the key game---extreme noise will be critical! UK and Vandy will be easy wins for UT, so it they beat Ark, the SEC east is wrapped up.

well, that's fine. my opinion on CPF not withstanding, in the interest of what is at stake these last three games, i'm willing to put that aside for now. i would hope that the majority of us would do the same.

the debate over CPF won't end this season either way anyway, and in the meantime, when all is said and done, one of, if not the, biggest gripe most of us have had at the end of the day has been lack of championships since 98.

and here we are, 3 games left, 1st in the East. while i won't proclaim to be "excited" about what has transpired so far this season, i am excited about what may yet happen this season.

i say send him off on a high note.

I don't think KY will be easy at all the way our Defense plays. Vandy could play us tough as well.

Right now I think KY will be favored over us by -3 or so points.

I don't defend Fulmer for much these days, but he should not even have to ask for crowd support. If your plan Saturday is to sit on your hands and watch the game with quiet contempt for the coaching staff, then please give your tickets to someone who wants to cheer this team to victory. Folks, we're only given 12 games. I intend to savor each and every one. I want to win every time the Vols take the field, but the outcome will not make me stop cheering as loud as I possibly can for our men in Big Orange! Get loud early! GO VOLS!

Your humble opinion? By definition, people who go out of their way to point out the harmless mistakes of others are anything but humble.

Every internet board I've ever been on has had its cadre of spelling/grammar police. Gets really tiresome. I think everyone who wants internet access should be screened for arrogance first.

This is a board for sports fans, not English majors.

Just look at the damn Auburn/Arkansas game film, Chavis and Fulmer,.............it's not rocket-science to stop a one dimensional team for heaven's sake.:banghead2:

So Spurrier does not have to worry about NASA calling him?

Apathy describes the majority of Razorback fans at this moment. We more than likely do not care if we win or lose this game since our immature, infidel, moron of a head coach ran off all those players that would have given us a chance of actually winning a national championship. Stop the run and you win. Sounds like a simple task.

Nutt brought this crap on himself -- make him 0-5 and put his dumba@s out of his misery so we can hire a winner.....

:lolabove: You sound like a lot of Vol Faithful who is calling for Fulmers head. EVEN though we are in the positon to make it to Atlanta....it's pathetic really that they are acting like that, but hey everyone is entitled to their own opinion :dance2:

GO VOLS!!!!!

This guy doesn't speak for most Razorback fans. We do care if we win. Nutt is not perfect by a long stretch, but most support the young men that put on the Razorback uniform. Even if a select few morons don't.

I'm coming to Knoxville for my first time on Saturday. I hope it's loud and a great atmosphere.

I am very happy with that fact that we are in position to go to the SECCG . I just dont like having to rely on other teams to lose to get in that position. Fulmer has a long way to go before we can get there as well. I will always support the team. I do hope we win on saturday.
