States’ Rights are indeed a wonderful thing. But they aren’t limitless. The 14th Amendment can and has been used (Bush vs Gore) to ensure that all voters receive equal protection under the law. If a plaintiff can show enough evidence to the court that illegal votes in one area dilute the votes of legitimate voters in another, the courts can quash such shenanigans

But they DO count in the census for determining population to allocate representatives and Electoral votes. So they do disenfranchise voters in states without the same percentage of illegals.

And since you agree that illegals (not “undocumented” 🙄) are not supposed to vote; I trust you support voter id requirements?

Which amounted to a 1 seat increase in both Texas and California after the 2020 census, both of whom have roughly 20% of the total undocumented population of the United States each.

California Democrats on Friday released their redistricting proposal, aiming to produce up to five additional Democratic seats in the US House in response to Texas Republicans’ mid-decade redrawing of lines at the behest of President Donald Trump.

The release comes ahead of the California legislature meeting Monday, with final passage possible later next week. Unlike in Texas, where the GOP can pass new US House maps as soon as enough Democrats return from a nearly two-week absence denying them quorum, Gov. Gavin Newsom and California Democrats will need voters to approve new maps in a November referendum.

The extraordinary battle between the nation’s two most populous states plays out as Trump has pushed Republican-led states to redraw their lines ahead of next year’s midterms. That’s led to outraged Democrats in blue states seeking to retaliate.
“Trump sparked this national crisis when he called Texas to rig the election. California is fighting back,” California Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas said in a statement.

And Texas was just responding to someone else's redistricting. and that state was responding to someone else's redistricting, and so on and so forth.
